Structural Hair Treatment

  1. When do I need a Structural Hair Treatment and how do I apply it correctly?

I have noticed increased hair loss. Should I use Plantur 39 Caffeine Tonic or Caffeine Shampoo or both?

For an even more intensive treatment or prevention, it makes sense to use both products. Especially for people who do not wash their hair every day, the additional application of the Caffeine Tonic is by all means recommended. During phases with severe bouts of hair loss, we recommend a two- to three-month treatment with the Plantur 39 Outside-Inside Treatment.

What is the make-up of the caffeine-based active ingredient combination of the Plantur 39 products?

All formulas include highly active caffeine, which penetrates into the hair follicles and is therefore able to provide them with sufficient growth energy. Depending on their intensity and application, the different products contain various additional active ingredients:

Apart from caffeine, the Caffeine Tonic contains the hair vitamin niacin and zinc salts, which prevent the increasing impact of testosterone on the hair roots. Furthermore, it contains botanical bio-active ingredients, e.g. the phytoestrogen genistein from the soy plant. Soy extracts are recommended and successfully used for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women.

The Caffeine Shampoos additionally contain phytoflavones from white tea (particularly gently extracted active ingredients from the tea plant) that also enhance the resistance of the scalp and the hair follicle. Phytoflavones act as a protective agent from free radicals and improve regeneration.

The Structural Hair Treatment contains a provitamin B5 hydropolymer complex for better hair styling properties and hair resistance. It is specially suited for the care of thin and brittle hair.

The caffeine-based active ingredient complex of the Outside-Inside Treatment is supported by valuable ingredients from black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) and natural soy (Glycine soja). These substances complement each other in their protective effect and strengthen the weakened hair roots.

Does drinking coffee help in preventing hair loss?

Since you ingest coffee orally, it first passes through the digestive system and is absorbed by the body only later on. Subsequently, it is distributed throughout the body, and only a tiny quantity reaches the scalp and the hair roots. As a result, a local and direct administration of caffeine is both meaningful and necessary. Even consumption of 50 cups of coffee would not supply enough caffeine to the hair roots.

Does it make sense to perform a scalp massage with coffee?

Caffeine from coffee is unable to penetrate the scalp or the hair follicle. This requires a special carrier base (galenics) that transports the active ingredients to the target location where they develop their effect. Our scientists have long been performing research in this area. Now they have succeeded in developing a method for transporting caffeine all the way into the hair follicles.

When should you begin using Plantur 39?

You should begin no later than the onset of menopause. But even in your younger years, Plantur 39 can protect the hair roots, especially when your metabolism is under a lot of stress, e.g. during reduction diets or other stressful situations.

What side effects may occur?

The Plantur 39 series consists of cosmetic products that are subject to the European cosmetics directive. According to this directive, cosmetics must be free of side effects, which also applies to the Plantur 39 products, of course.

Isn't the alcohol harmful?

First of all, alcohol is not unhealthy and has no negative effect on the hair. Due to alcohol, Plantur 39 is quickly absorbed and transports the active ingredients even through fatty skin layers. This is important, if Plantur 39 is to be used on a daily basis without washing the hair every day. Water alone can not do this, it would drip off.

Can I use Plantur 39 even if I am younger than 39?

Generally, Plantur 39 can also be used at a younger age. Plantur 39 with its phyto-caffeine complex strengthens energy supply to the hair roots and can also be used for stress and other strain to the hair roots.

Does it make sense to use Plantur 39 after chemotherapy?

Chemotherapy represents a massive interference into the cellular activity of the entire body. Especially skin and hair suffer strongly from this type of therapy. To stop these impacts on the hair roots, we recommend using the Plantur 39 Outside-Inside Treatment.

For a few weeks, I have been using Plantur 39 Caffeine Tonic every day and I am noticing increased hair loss.

In rare cases, stronger hair loss can occur temporarily. This process is called "shedding." Based on an intensive scalp massage, hairs that are in their resting phase anyway can be massaged out of the follicles at an increased rate. However, after three to four months, this increased hair loss is reduced and the hair growth cycles can regenerate.

Can I use other styling products (gel, wax, hair spray and hair lacquer) in addition to the Caffeine Tonic?

Yes, wait about three minutes after massaging in the tonic until it is absorbed, then use the styling product.

Do I have to use the Caffeine Tonic every day?

The phyto-caffeine complex quickly reaches the hair roots where it develops an active ingredient depot that lasts up to 24 hours. To continuously supply the hair roots with sufficient energy and to prevent a reduction in hair growth, daily application is very important.

Is it possible to overdose by applying the Caffeine Tonic multiple times a day (e.g. in the bathroom in the morning and after exercising at night)?

No, the quantity of caffeine absorbed via the hair sheath and the scalp corresponds to about one half cup of coffee. This is completely safe even for people who react sensitively to caffeine. In addition, the active ingredient is applied locally to the scalp; the quantities distributed over the body from there are negligible.

What quantity is required for a correct application?

Application is easiest when the dosage tip is used to apply the liquid directly to the scalp parting by parting, so that it can be massaged into the entire scalp.

What happens, if I quit using the Caffeine Tonic? Will I lose more hair? How long do I have to use it?

Regular application of the Caffeine Tonic prevents a reduction in hair growth after menopause. With the beginning of menopause, estrogen levels in the female body will drop significantly, so that the impact of testosterone will increase, thereby impeding hair growth. This condition can not be changed without hormone products, so that any successful prevention of hair loss must take place early, regularly and in the long term.

I have been using the Plantur 39 Caffeine Tonic for 3 weeks and have not noticed any improvement of my hair loss.

It takes a certain time until the hair roots regenerate. Normally, stronger hair loss should have decreased noticeably after a period of about 3 to 4 months.

Despite regular application of the Caffeine Tonic, I am still losing a lot of hair. Does the tonic not always work?

The effectiveness of all products depends on the metabolism of the individual. Even the effect of pharmaceuticals is not guaranteed, because each individual reacts differently. Some effects are also not perceived immediately, e.g. severe hair loss may be reduced but is still slightly higher than normal.

How much caffeine is contained in the Caffeine Shampoos?

The quantity of caffeine selected provides sufficient protection against the impacts of testosterone. This is completely safe, even for people who are sensitive to caffeine.

Is it absolutely required to wash the hair every day?

Although shampoos were used exclusively to cleanse scalp and hair in the past, Dr. Wolff-Research has now succeeded in developing a method for transporting caffeine all the way to the hair roots based on a shampoo formula.
The caffeine remains detectable for up to 24 hours. As a result, regular application of Caffeine Shampoo activates the hair roots in a sustained manner, thereby creating the prerequisite for vigorous and healthy hair growth.
Alternatively, on the day when you don't wash your hair, you should massage the Caffeine Tonic into the scalp to provide the hair roots with sufficient growth energy.

After washing my hair with Caffeine Shampoo especially for fine, brittle hair, I have difficulty combing my hair.

The Caffeine Shampoo especially for fine, brittle hair contains only weakly dosed hair conditioning agents to ensure that your hair style retains its volume.
To improve combability, we recommend you use the Structural Hair Treatment, which contains important hair restorative components and conditioning agents.
Use the handy dispenser to measure out a small quantity into your palms, distribute the conditioning fluid and massage it into your hair. Your hair will comb easily and
display a neat shine.

I have longer hair that lacks strength. Which of the two Caffeine Shampoos by Plantur39 should I use?

Use the Caffeine Shampoo for colour-treated and stressed hair. It contains wheat proteins that will fortify your hair. In addition, provitamin B5 will provide natural shine and smoothness.

When do I need a Structural Hair Treatment and how do I apply it correctly?

The Plantur 39 products were specially developed for weak, thin and brittle hair. As a result, the hair requires care that won't weigh it down and makes it stylable at the same time.
The Plantur 39 Structural Hair Treatment includes a provitamin B5 hydropolymer complex that improves the hair's styling properties and resistance.
After hair washing, use your fingers to evenly massage the Structural Hair Treatment (one or two pump portions depending on hair length) into towel-dried hair. Do not rinse out!
