For hair over forty
Hair loss is not exclusively a male problem. During menopause, millions of women also suffer from a dwindling hair quantity.
WHY IS HAIR AFFECTED?
This is frequently due to decreasing oestrogen levels which previously protected women’s hair roots against the male hormone testosterone. During menopause, the share of oestrogen decreases and the impact of the male hormones increases. This change can have unexpected side effects: Women’s hair becomes thinner, falls out prematurely, the scalp becomes visible and the hairline recedes. But for many affected women, there is hope.
In collaboration with the dermatological institute of the University Clinic Jena, Dr. Wolff -Research has discovered properties of caffeine, which could help reduce this type of hair loss.
The Dr. Wolff laboratories developed a Phyto-Caffeine Complex that helps to reduce hair loss in women during menopause. It contains caffeine, zinc and niacin as well as an active ingredient combination composed of phytoflavonoids derived from white tea or the soy plant.
