Yes, Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo can be used daily without hesitation.  The shampoo should be left on for two to five minutes. The ingredient 5,6-DHI accumulates in the hair during shampooing and reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a colour pigment. This creates a permanent colour effect that does not wash out but grows out with the hair. Once the desired colour result has been achieved, it can be used alternately with a normal shampoo. To provide the hair with its daily dose of caffeine, you can use our Plantur 39 Phyto-Caffeine Shampoo and/or Phyto-Caffeine Tonic. 

The first visible effects of Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo can usually be expected after two to four weeks of regular use. However, the results may vary depending on the individual hair condition and the initial hair colour.

Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo ensures gradually darker hair. The ingredient 5,6-DHI is responsible for this. Its mode of action is modelled on the natural formation of the dark colour pigment eumelanin in the hair. The hair can therefore become darker, but it is not possible to restore the natural colour of the hair, as this is very individual and depends on the ratio of dark eumelanin to light pheomelanin.

With conventional hair colours or permanent colouring, the hair expands with hydrogen peroxide so that the dyes can penetrate better. In contrast, Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo works without aggressive chemicals. Here, the colour pigments are formed by a reaction with the oxygen in the air. This natural-looking pigmentation process is much easier on the hair.

The active principle of Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo is based on the natural processes of hair colour formation.  The use of 5,6-DHI, a precursor of the natural hair pigment eumelanin, enables gradual and permanent grey coverage that does not wash out. When the product is applied, the dye accumulates, penetrates the hair shaft and forms large "dye chains" with the air. With regular use, more and more dye accumulates and a permanent hair colour develops that does not wash out but grows out with the hair.

No, Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo is not a classic colouring product and can therefore be used without fear of discolouration. Neither your scalp nor your hands will become discoloured when you wash your hair.

To avoid discolouration of surfaces in the shower, washbasin or towels, shampoo residue should be rinsed off thoroughly. No discolouration is to be expected after rinsing and drying the hair.
