The active principle of Plantur 39 Anti-Grey Effect Shampoo is based on the natural processes of hair colour formation.  The use of 5,6-DHI, a precursor of the natural hair pigment eumelanin, enables gradual and permanent grey coverage that does not wash out. When the product is applied, the dye accumulates, penetrates the hair shaft and forms large "dye chains" with the air. With regular use, more and more dye accumulates and a permanent hair colour develops that does not wash out but grows out with the hair.
