Hope for women suffering from hair loss
Phyto-caffeine complex against hair loss discovered – Clinical tests prove its effect
Hair loss is not exclusively a male problem. After menopause, millions of women in Germany also suffer from a dwindling hair quantity. This is frequently due to decreasing estrogen levels which previously protected women’s hair roots against the male hormone testosterone. After menopause, the share of estrogen decreases and the impact of the male hormones increases. This change can have unexpected side effects: Women’s hair becomes thinner, falls out prematurely, the scalp becomes visible and the hairline recedes. But for many affected women, there is new hope now.
In collaboration with the dermatological institute of the University Clinic Jena, Dr. Wolff R&D has discovered novel properties of caffeine, which can prevent the negative effect of testosterone in the hair root.
The Dr. Wolff laboratories developed and patented a new phyto-caffeine complex especially against hair loss in women after menopause, which contains caffeine, zinc and niacin as well as an active ingredient combination from phytoflavonoids of the soy plant and black cohosh (Cimicifuga).
